A native of Upstate New York, Daniel moved to Colorado shortly after graduating
college where he spent the formative years of his career developing his skills as a teacher, conductor, and collaborative pianist. He graduated with his master’s degree in conducting from the University of Northern Colorado in 2012 and was involved with numerous music-related organizations along the Front Range, including
Boulder Opera, Denver Opera Collective, and the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.
He was also the organist at King of Glory Lutheran Church in Arvada and
taught private voice and piano lessons in the Denver area.
After nearly a decade in Colorado, Daniel moved back to the East Coast in 2017.
He is currently the music director at Packanack Community Church in Wayne
and works with a variety of local theatre groups and ensembles. Daniel is a highly versatile musician whose resume reflects a wide range of both opera and musical theatre productions; recent performances include Into the Woods, Mamma Mia!,
Carrie: The Musical, and Fiddler on the Roof.
In his scarce and fleeting moments of free time, Daniel enjoys hiking, reading, pretending to be moderately fluent in German, and spending quality time with his dog Kipper.
